Bloomington, IL is known to be a college town. They are home to four prestige colleges: Illinois State University, Illinois Wesleyan University, Lincoln College, and Heartland Community College. What that means is there's a wide variety of up-and-coming artists waiting to be seen and discovered.

What you get when attending a college town show is that college students are ready to show support any day of the week and that is exactly what we saw at Daddio’s located in downtown Bloomington. For a late-night show on a Thursday night, the crowd was ready to turn up with Basement Bar Records and the talent they booked for the night.

The night was set to begin around 9 P.M. doors were around 8. To set the mood for the night they had a DJ take the stage till the opener. This allowed everyone to gather and get some drinks. From there we had Kid B Music with his clean yet cold vocals he touched the crowd with his song Sober which you can stream on all platforms now.

Up next we had Juice and Daipreme heat up the stage with there back-to- back-dueling vocals. They were highly engaged with the crowd and not afraid of the camera. The energy and hype brought the crowd together for the rest of the performers that night.

Following that we had Jamie Jacoby hit the stage with his old mobster-era-inspired raps. He played his upcoming project for the crowd and they were not ready for Crazy Joe Gallo. We as a team have been working on this project for a few months and can not wait for the music video to be released. The time and articulation Jamie puts behind his lyrics are spot on when it comes to the eras of inspiration he taps into.

Up next we had All Day Jay who is a Chicago recording artist, songwriter, and producer. To say he is talented is an understatement. All Day Jay brought the vibes on stage with his clean vocals and his soulful beats. He was well-engaged with the crowd and kept the energy going for the night.

The last two performances for the night brought the energy out and the camera flashes were out to document it. Moody Juno hit the stage with his smooth yet raw and moody vocals. We got to see a taste of what is to come from Moody Juno in the future.

@moodyjuno

Last but not least we had V8 Vast Change who kept the crowd dancing for the remainder of the night. His striking yet powerful lyricism was on point and his stage presence was spot on. There is more to come from this artist and all the ones that performed that night. Just the beginning for the Chicago music scene
